Art on this site tends to be aware of itself as art. Its depth--more so, its resonance--tends to be that dimension wherein it shadows, parodies, or otherwise, poses against other art or other histories of art. How to interpret something depends in part on you, the interpreter, and as well as on what you bring to the interpretation.
